02052011 attempt to hike the LaLuz Trail to the Crest

Well, I may not have made it to the top, but I had a blast trying. And saw some beautiful scenery including a lot of snow.

I'll come back and add more to this later but I met some guys on the trail today who I told I would get up maps, photos etc so I want to get up what I can very quickly. The video creation is taking FOREVER!! I've never tried video but I think it will be ok.

LaLuz trailhead is 7,071 feet.
